PATIENT TABLE
The head-shaped table allows the operators to easily load patients. It has a maximum load capacity of 200 kg and an excursion capacity of ±200 cm.
DETECTOR
Quantic is equipped with a 43×43 cm detector with aSi technology. Operators, depending on their needs, can change the SID, even while keeping fixed the height of the table.
FPD MECHANICAL BUMPER
The FPD mechanical bumper stops all movements of the system as soon as the detector hits an obstacle.
GRID
The device is equipped with a removable anti-scattering grid to reduce the quantity of scattered radiation that reaches the FPD. The grid can be removed for low-dose pediatric applications.
PAEDIATRIC FILTERS AND LASER
The collimator is equipped with motorized filters for pediatric applications and laser targeting device for dose reduction.
X-RAY GENERATOR
Quantic is equipped with a generator with a nominal power rating of 80 kW, which is adequately cooled to allow the performance of long-term radioscopic procedures. Operators can perform x-ray exposures using the x-ray footswitch in the treatment room or the x-ray buttons present on the control unit in the control room.
SYSTEM’S MOVEMENTS
All movements of the system are automated and isocentric, and they can be controlled by the operators using dedicated hand controls and footswitch. The C-arm and the table can be moved independently or in synchronized mode. It is also possible to store memory positions and recall them when necessary. All movements can be stopped in the event of an emergency by pressing the emergency mushroom buttons, which are present in both the treatment room and the control room.
ACS ANTI-COLLISION SYSTEM
Thanks to accurate calculations, the ACS anti-collision system prevents collisions between the patient tabletop, the x-ray unit and the c-arm. When the c-arm enters the approach zones the movement speed is decreased, while the movement stops when the c-arm enters the collision zone. In both cases a warning message is displayed to the operators and an audible alarm is triggered.
HAND CONTROL CONNECTION POINTS
System movements and status messages can be managed by the operators via a hand control. Each unit is equipped with two hand controls: one in the treatment room and one in the control room. The local hand control, in the treatment room, can be connected to the endoscopy shelf or to either side of the patient table.
ENDOSCOPY SHELF
The endoscopy shelf is designed to support minimally invasive surgical equipment and to place this equipment within reach.
KEYPAD FOR VIDEO INPUT SELECTION
The keypad at the base of the endoscopy shelf allows operators to select up to four different video inputs.
ROOM MONITORS
Two 21” room monitors are mounted on an articulated support arm that allows them to be placed in the most convenient position for the operators. One monitor displays live images, while on the other the reference image is visualized.
OPERATOR AND WORK MONITORS
What is displayed on the live and reference monitors, in the treatment room, is replicated within the control room on the work monitor, whose screen is digitally split into two parts. In addition, the touchscreen operator monitor allows the management of all radiological parameters.
CONTROL UNIT
The control unit present in the control room allows operators to switch the system on and off and to take X-rays. It is also the connection point for the remote hand control.
